Tamil actor Surya may be to work with director Shankar for the 3 Idiots Tamil and Telugu Remake.  Before Vijay and Mahesh babu was been selected, but they are busy and could not give dates for the director,  so Shankar may get Surya for both Tamil and Telugu version.  Still there is no official confirmation yet,  but according to the sources Surya is almost to do this project.

But the actor Surya was strict on couple of issues. One is that Shankar has to wait for another year as Surya is busy with many projects till the end of next year. The second factor is that Suriya wants to play the lead role in both the Tamil and Telugu versions.

Surya has many fans in Tollywood as well as his dubbed films did a better job in Telugu. Needless to mention, his recent release ‘Raktha Charithram’ has a done a better job than in Tamil.

The actor is right now working with A.R. Murugadoss in the film Ezham Arivu that will be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
