Time magazine selected Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg as the person of the year. The Financial Times, however, decided that Apple CEO Steve Jobs was more worthy of that title in 2010.

It’s hard to argue against FT’s logic: Apple has had a phenomenal year, with back-to-back record quarters at a time when the U.S. is still emerging from a deep recession. Under the leadership of Steve Jobs, Apple also managed to create another breakthrough product: the iPad. Finally, the iPhone 4 launch, although initially marred with antenna issues, turned out to be one of the most successful product launches in Apple history.

Facebook Hero Mark in animated film http://www.facemaza.com/blog/2010/11/20/facebook-hero-mark-in-animated-film/ Sat, 20 Nov 2010 15:27:43 +0000 http://www.facemaza.com/blog/?p=3307 Mark Zuckerberg

Hayden 5 Media and Bluewater Productions team up to create the animated film based off the comic book for Mark Zuckerburg: Creator of Facebook.

The comic book is written by Jerome Maida and drawn by Fritz Saalfeld. It is described as the brains and driving force behind Facebook Mark Zuckerberg has become the youngest billionaire in the history of the planet. As this comic reveals, the road for the success for both his creation and him personally was not preordained nor was it always a smooth ride. He would be tempted with unimaginable amounts of money and have to deal harshly with people along the way – many of whom would later feel betrayed. Read how a young man’s frustration with women helped spark an idea that would have him dating Victoria’s secret models and how socially inept young man wound up creating a company that has revolutionized the way hundreds of millions of people all over the globe socialize with each other.

The comic book hits stores in late December. The suggested retail price (SRP) for the upcoming comic book is $6.99. To make sure you get your copy, contact your local comic book store to pre-order it.

Mark Zuckerberg revealed “Project Titan,” the codename for an overhauled version of the company’s messaging product. Long in need of an upgrade, Facebook has finally given it a facelift and a ton of new features. Its central thesis is that messaging should be simple and unified, which is why it integrates IM, chat, SMS and e-mail into one inbox. Users can send e-mails from an @facebook.com address and text their friends from the same interface.
