The audio launch of Gautham Menon’s ‘Veppam’ happened yesterday (31st December 2010) in Chennai. Veppam is one of the most anticipated films of 2011. It is also the first full fledged production of Gautham Menon under his Photon Kathaas.

At the music launch today music composer Joshua Sridhar of ‘Kadhal’ fame was the hero. Joshua is surfacing with some good music after a while. Na. Muthukumar has written the lyrics.

The event was attended by Gautam Menon, Anjana, Suhasini Maniratnam, Lingusamy, Dharani, Parthipan, N.Muthukumar, Poornima Bhagiyaraj, Omprakash, Nazer, Vivek, Sasi, Balajisakivel, Ravi,Nithya, Joshua Sridhar and others.

Four songs from the film were performed live on stage. Two songs and trailler of the film were also screened for the audience..

Veppam is a raw film that will put on show Chennai in a different light. It is written and directed by Gautham’s former assistant Anjana. Nani, Karthik Kumar, Bindu Madhavi and Nithya Menon are playing the lead roles.
