Semmozhi Poonga, literally translated to “Classical Language Park”, is the world-class botanical garden being established near Anna flyover in Chennai by the horticulture department. The garden is located in the Cathedral Road-Anna Salai junction, opposite to the American Consulate.
Garden Encompass 20 acres and build at a cost of 1 crore approximately. Garden liked to be opened to the public on 23 November 2010 by TamilNadu Chief Minister Dr. Karunanidhi.
