AMBUR TRADE CENTER

Ambur Trade Center has been constructed with financial contribution from government of India and the Industry. It will provide a platform for holding international exhibitions, conferences, workshops and will also provide testing and training services to the leather industry in the region.

Achievement

Tender for the Ambur Trade Center was issued on 8th April 2010 and the Inauguration made on 24th July 2010
Hats of  to Council for Leather Exports and Ambur Economic Development Organisation Ltd (AEDOL) for completing the project with in 4 months.

Inaugural ceremony of ‘Ambur Open’

The fifth edition of the exhibition of footwear components, accessories and finished leather will be inaugurated in Ambur on July 24 in Ambur Trade Center. A two-day exhibition from July 24 will feature participation from many major foreign brands such as Adidas, Reebok, Nike, Timberland, etc. A book on the history of tanning industry in Vellore, starting from 1840, will also be released as part of the exhibition.
